august 2k19: Utah with Braden cousins!

Part 2a of the triangle trip: driving from Elko to Lehi to hang out with Braden cousins for a couple of days. We've driven this stretch a fair amount but never stopped to look around on the Salt Flats, so we decided today should be the day:

Carma confirmed it tasted... salty.

We've also never taken our kids to Ikea, so apparently we crossed that off the bucket list as well. I think they played hide and seek for a while, sigh.

Legit can't tell if Clyde was going for a high five or if he was on his way to whacking Will in the face... I guess we'll never know...

The next morning Chuck was on kid-duty with all twelve so that Eden and Terri and I could go to lunch. Jett helped me get ready to go:

Because Chuck is the literal best, he had the kids color a birthday sign and make a video for Grandma Pam since we were all hanging out on her birthday and she wasn't there.

HIJ! Aka Jack, Hazel and Isaac, all born within four and a half months of each other:

Hazel, three weeks later Jack, three and a half months later, Isaac. Cute kiddos.

The all girl group, aka Leila, Miko, and Carma all born within seven months of each other:

First Miko, then two and a half months later Leila, then four and a half months later Carma. 

Chuck and Jett are such good buddies.

First Clyde, then nineteen months later Will, then two years and some change later Bailey - who is a super good sport to be lumped into a group with these big tall boy cousins!

And the little kids aka Remi and the boys aka Jett, Remi, Sammy:

First Remi, then about a year later Jett, then about seven months later Sammy!

Loved that this cute dozen kiddos could get some fun and memory making in together; wish it could happen more :).
