June: Farewell to the 17-18 School Year!

The end of school in June brought a pretty exciting milestone for our Jackers: kindergarten graduation, woooo!

Pro tip: don't try to get a good picture of your kid during the actual graduation - awkwardly linger around and make him go back on stage afterwards ;).

Jack and Ms. Crain! Jack's class transitioned teachers towards the end of the year, which has the potential of being disruptive to wee six-year-olds, but Jack did great and went with the flow and we're so glad!

Such a suspicious little fellow, always glancing around and keeping an eye on things...

Love these pictures of a happy boy outside of Park Ridge. He loved school!
Quick selfie with the Best Mom Ever, per my shirt which Jack specifically requested I wear haha.

And some pictures with Carma, who tried as much as possible to make the day about her ;).

Clark came over so I took a quick picture of the two new graduates. After being on opposite kindergarten days this year, the boys were pretty excited for summer and lots of time to play together!
Also - beginning of school open house to kindergarten graduation. Pretty cute boys!!

Somehow I either missed these projects the first time around, or Jack just finally brought them home at the end of school haha but they're pretty cute.

Clyde wrapped up his first year of middle school, woooo! Also this picture is 100% staged; he refused to wear a polo on the last day of school ;).

Beginning and end of sixth grade. Holy moly this kid grew and matured and progressed a ton during the school year!

Willllly boy!

Beginning and end of fourth grade. Taller and more confident and just as cute as ever!

And Jack's official last day picture:

Oh man, I sent a cute little baby boy to kindergarten and he came back a cool, collected big kid. Craziness!

Loved this view every morning of Jack and Will riding off to school together:

We were back at Park Ridge that last day for an assembly - Jack received the Falcon Flyer award for all of his academic achievements and efforts during the year. Cute little rock star!

We're big fans of celebrating the end of school - our latest tradition is frozen yogurt at Costco:

and this year Chuck facilitated a campout on the trampoline too - pretty sweet way to kick off summer vacation!

And all four kids even managed to get along playing the next morning for an hour or so - before the summer whining and teasing and boredom kicked in haha. Is it August yet? ;)
