We kicked off our early Braden Christmas celebration with some good ol' gingerbread house constructing:
Sam and Terri provided the fixins' and everybody got in on the decorating.
Here's Terri doing some last minute wall-reinforcing... which reminds me of two of the funniest exchanges of the day:
Chuck (to Jana): "No, I'm not done with the frosting yet; someone cut the hole too big..."
Terri: "Oh, sorry, that was actually me."
Quinn (to Mom): "Whatever, at least mine doesn't have a cracked front."
Terri: "Oh, sorry, that was actually me. Well, and Sam."
Not everyone can match Quinn's enthusiasm in the first take; some of us require a second try...
There was a bit of candy embezzling going on during the building and decorating. They had to be pretty sneaky, because Will was hardcore: "No, Bailey, no! Don't eat the candy, it just for the houses!"
Grandma Pam was assigned the gingerbread mansion and it turned out super cute!
The finished gingerbread house/office/condo/tent. Love them all!

I'm impressed w/ Terri's abilities- we've done that cute weird shaped one before and could NOT get it to stay up! Also, I like the big house with the mini structures- especially the tent, obviously. Please, please, PLEASE do the same thing next year, with a medieval British castle and serfs! Maybe I should be selling this idea to Pam...
