Chuck's amazing mom loves to have grandkids come during the summer for 'grandma camp' and this was the first year we could send some of our kids! Will, Jack, and Carma piled into the car with Chuck and headed to Elko for a few days of outdoor fun with cousins and Grandma and Grandpa (and Dad - Chuck tagged along too!).
Shooting was on the agenda - these ground squirrels cause tons of headaches and damage so some family friends love it when the population is reduced a bit, and Jack sure loved helping out!
It isn't a visit with Grandma Izatt unless slime is involved, much to the DELIGHT of all the grandkids! Trust an elementary school teacher to be ready with such fun projects:
These next pictures will have to speak for themselves as I don't recall any of the pertinent information and none of the involved parties are currently at home to ask... looks like a creek of some kind with some general merriment and exploration:
This was possibly a different day? Canoeing?

And Carma at home showing off her painted bird feeder.
Pretty awesome few days making memories in Elko! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!
