After our Soda Springs adventure, it was time to go back to the church to party, wooo!
I managed to make it out on the dance floor a bit, despite the fact that Jack was attached to me for most of the evening.
He did let cousin Bekah hold him for a quick minute at one point, and he sat down for some scribbling time at another point, but mostly he strongly preferred being toted around in my arms. Good thing he's cute!
I loved watching all the awesome dancers who took the floor. Uncle Bill and Aunt Gina showed off some pretty sweet moves, and cousin Matthew was more than happy to hold his darling niece Raelyn while Jared and Amanda went out for a spin. The (not-so-) little "babies of '08" had a great time dancing/spinning together too.
A few more shots from the reception - I LOVED the colors and decor. And of course Mallory and I needed a picture together; she had a busy weekend with play performances up to the night before the wedding so I didn't get to see her too much, but it was fun to watch her be such a beautiful, grown-up bridesmaid.
It was so neat to be able to celebrate this special occasion with so many extended family members that we rarely get to see. Congratulations again Rachel and Taylor!!
The wedding-related fun did spill over into the next morning as everyone gathered 'round to watch Rachel and Taylor open presents. We had to leave pretty quickly to get to church, but I did get a picture of Chuck and Jack with Grandma Thomas on our way out :). It was much easier to say good-bye to her knowing that we'll get to see her when she ventures out west in June!
Next up: spending the rest of Sunday in the nearby town of Thatcher, where Chuck's dad's family settled wayyyy back in the day and where Chuck spent his first few years...
