Instagram caption: Did a little ‘treat yo self’ thing yesterday and put my face into the capable hands of @lyfebylauren for an eyelash lift and eyelash tint. My natural eyelashes are long and stick straight and refuse to bend to the will of any eyelash curler I’ve tried (like two of them). Lauren basically permed them AND THEY CURL UP ON THEIR OWN! This picture is without makeup (or a shower 😅) and you can actually see my eyelashes!!

{I haven’t tried mascara on top yet but I will for really fancy events, like Target runs.}

The process was chill, I laid on a thing with my eyes closed and rambled about my life like Lauren was my therapist and aside for a fifteen second stinging in my eyes where I thought my vanity had possibly led to becoming blind, it was super chill. (Also the stinging legit wasn’t too bad, def worth it, and Lauren was super on top of ensuring I was comfortable).

One of these kids spent multiple days hospitalized as an 18 month old when he got hit super hard by a virus that worsened a pre-existing condition. He missed the vaccine rollout for that virus by a year.

One of these kids is part of a subgroup that was exploited by anti-vaxxers and used as a fear tactic of what your child could end up as which is slightly insane and ridiculously offensive because if there was a shot that could make a baby be more Will-like, it would be in crazy high demand.

Totes get doing research and working with your health care provider to make personal medical decisions for your family. Totes don’t get knee-jerk reactions and anger and mocking and patronizing of those who follow that education and medical counsel and get the shot.

Everyday we go to summer school and then I take a nap while Will enjoys screens allll to himself and then we go swim and we are enjoying ourselves immensely.

Happy 1️⃣7️⃣th anniversary to this ruggedly handsome guy. I celebrated by driving six hours away from him 😅 but I listened to cheesy songs and FaceTimed him to get a picture together 📸. And I’ll be back home tomorrow with the rest of our children so that’s quite a gift 🎉.

Equal amounts of Inspirational quotes from Marvel and apostles of God. Also a renewed commitment to continuing our family Marvel movie marathon and daily scripture study as a fam 📺📽🍿🙏🏼📜📖 3. Scraps of paper and pens and a vase: we are all going to write things we love about our family or about a specific family member and fold them up and put them in this vase and read them at the end of two weeks. By then we will either BE happier or be willing to FAKE happier so that we don’t have to do it anymore 📝📑📝🗳🤗
