We found a lovely spring day to spend some time with my dad at a park - Grandpa came prepared with kites and it was the perfect amount of wind to keep them up:

Carma had the time of her life; Will was a good sport haha. We loved spending time with Grandpa Braden!

Our elementary school took its turn having a ‘drive through the neighborhood parade’ on Wednesday and it was the highlight of our week... possibly month 😂. Carma and Chuck painted signs all morning and I had to blink back tears as we yelled at waved at so many adults who have loved my children this year and in years past. Carma and Jack had the biggest smiles for the rest of the day 🤩😍. {awkward that I thought it was a ‘back to school parade’ and that the cars and such were in lieu of a school bus. 😅 I kept running up and trying to toss my two Park Ridge Falcons into various vehicles to no avail; those car doors were locked tight! 🤨}
