I recently embarked on an extremely difficult task: take a nice picture of the little boys in white shirts and ties that would look cute on a t-shirt for Quinn's Christmas present. Factors working against me included the fact that both boys needed haircuts, the fact that Chuck wasn't there to help, and the fact that MY CHILDREN REFUSE TO SMILE AND LOOK AT THE DANG CAMERA. Factors working for me included that my children are mostly cute and their clothes were cute.
Here's how it went:
1. First shot of the day. I should have realized that it wasn't going to happen right then and there. 2. Good news: Clyde agreed to wear his tie. Bad news: He is now camera-shy AND Will has progressed from sad to angry. 3. Oh, it's a full-on tantrum now, which means it's time for . . .
4. A solo shot! Shout it from the rooftops, Elder :).
5. I tried again after church - Clyde now feels like dancing, and Will refuses to sit without his bumbo . . . that he hasn't used in over a year.
6. Hey, Will looks happy in this one! Almost too happy . . . weirdly happy . . . And I have no idea what Clyde was looking at, no one else was in the room.

That is way cute idea for a christmas present.
Jana, those are so cute. What a fun idea!
Ohhhh you and your boys just made my night. Mostly your commentary though. Jana, you have a gift!
In #6 Clyde looks so much like young pictures of Chuck. And yes, I can tell which one was his idea and which yours, Chuck's made me about fall out of my chair. Yours however is probably more appropriate mission attire.
What a cute idea!! I like T-shirt #2 the best. You are SO clever!! Ü
So cute, Love the idea.
Ohhh my!
I lost it reading this one. By far my favorite post
Cutest boys EVER! And most clever mom EVER! (well, okay, my boys were also very cute, and their mom still have a few clever streaks in her, but you definitely win with this post!) love you, Mom
Perfect. Absolutely hilariously perfect. The boys, the Mom, the t-shirts...all of it!
I laughed out loud! And...someone better call your mom on that error. In her words "Everyone needs a proofreader." ;)
. . . their mom still HAS clever streaks, but also senior moment streaks. Alas, when a science teacher has to correct a former language arts teacher. . . .
I do think this may be one of your top 5 blogs, Jana. I can read it over and over and smile every time.
Okay, this one made me laugh out loud! Jana, you are too funny!
Oh I love this idea!!! Cute, cute pictures. And I love and laughed super hard at the first t-shirt...ahhh the joys of companionship. Perrrrfect!
